The membership costs $500 per month and is paid through automatic bank transfer. The monthly fee covers eligible medical care and access provided directly through Ask Dr. Hu.

No. Membership is provided on a month-to-month basis and may be canceled at any time by email or text.

Payments that have already been processed are nonrefundable.

No. Medical visits and communication provided through the membership are not submitted to health insurance.

Patients may continue using their insurance for eligible outside services such as prescriptions, imaging, specialist care, hospital services, and laboratory testing performed by outside facilities.

No. Concierge medicine membership is not health insurance and does not replace health insurance.

Patients are encouraged to maintain appropriate insurance coverage for emergency care, hospital services, specialists, imaging, medications, and other outside medical expenses.

No. Prescription medications are not included in the membership fee.

Medication costs are paid separately through the pharmacy, and patients may use insurance or available cash-pay options when appropriate.

The membership includes medically appropriate laboratory ordering, monitoring, and personalized review of results.

Charges from an outside laboratory may be billed separately depending on the laboratory, testing location, and the patient’s insurance coverage.

Members may schedule virtual appointments as often as medically appropriate for new concerns, follow-up care, laboratory review, medication management, and ongoing health planning.

Appointment availability and timing may depend on the urgency and nature of the concern.

Members may communicate directly by text, email, or phone for appropriate medical questions, treatment updates, and follow-up needs.

Some concerns may require a scheduled appointment, in-person examination, laboratory testing, or referral to another healthcare professional.

Members may contact their physician after normal business hours for urgent, non-emergency concerns when appropriate.

The membership does not provide emergency medical care. Patients experiencing a medical emergency should call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

Members who prepay for 12 months receive one annual in-person physical examination by appointment.

Month-to-month membership alone does not automatically include the annual physical.

Yes. We can help coordinate medically appropriate specialist referrals, review outside records, and discuss specialist recommendations.

Patients with an HMO or another insurance plan requiring an assigned insurance-network primary care physician may still need referrals processed through that physician.

The membership does not include emergency care, hospital services, prescription medications, imaging, specialist fees, outside facility charges, or procedures and services not specifically included in the membership.

Ask Dr. Hu does not provide in-office vaccines through the membership.

No. Membership does not replace an emergency department or urgent care center.

Call 911 or seek immediate emergency evaluation for symptoms such as severe chest pain, significant breathing difficulty, stroke symptoms, severe bleeding, loss of consciousness, or another potentially life-threatening condition.

Ask Dr. Hu provides virtual concierge medical care to eligible patients throughout Arizona.

Some services, including physical examinations, procedures, or concerns requiring hands-on evaluation, may require an in-person visit or care from a local healthcare professional.
